The magnets work well and are a great alternative to spoons on a ring. However, the metal is somewhat flimsy and bendable, as other reviewers have said. So you can't use these to measure out cookie dough because it would be too hard on them. However for flour, spices, and liquids they work just fine, and I will continue to use them for a long time.

I really like the feel and heft of these spoons. However, after about 1 year of use, the plastic/magnet part came off one of the spoons. I haven't tried to glue it yet.

I for one have had enough of the measuring spoons on a key ring. They're hard to wash, awkward, etc. These are perfect, with the narrow shape on one end, round on the other. They're sturdy, stick together well with a strong magnet -- altogether a well-conceived product.
